Notice pervs only equate "collateral damage" to the offender or his immediate family??Never to a victim or their families.. watch the mindset of these freaks its very eye opening..they have NO remorse, No Guilt, No Empathy for any victim no matter how heinous the crime, hell they dont even bother to log into a forum with the details of a "superfreak" and what he has comitted..They cant be bothered and if they do, its as a punchline with the Parents should have been more responsible?? Fairy freak already went there with the quote "the girl should have been more responsible for her own safety" These pathetic excuses for DNA will blame Porn, They will blame prior abuse (but dont get the fact thats why these deviants should be locked up) They blame alcohol, They blame "the girl didnt LOOK 13" They blame the Parents, They blame the frikkin weather but never do they blame the Offender..NEVER Not once will you see an offender OWN any crime they have been convicted of ..its societies fault and hate the restrictions they must abide by due to the very real "thinking that they didnt do anything wrong" Sex Offenders I liken to an envasive species who infects the native population ..the sooner they are eradicated the better..

i have always owned my crime. never once have i justified what i've done.

also i'm trying to read the link living was good enough to provide.
because i'm a simpleton i have trouble understanding this. here's why.
Quote:
Compared to non-sex offenders
released from State prison, sex offenders
had a lower overall rearrest rate.
When rearrests for any type of crime
(not just sex crimes) were counted, the
study found that 43% (4,163 of 9,691)
of the 9,691 released sex offenders
were rearrested.
The overall rearrest
rate for the 262,420 released non-sex
offenders was higher, 68% (179,391 of
262,420).
The rearrest offense was a felony for
about 75% of the 4,163 rearrested sex
offenders. By comparison, 84% of the
179,391 rearrested non-sex offenders
were charged by police with a felony.

But then goes to say.
Quote:

about 75% of the 4,163 rearrested sex
offenders.

what % were re-arrested for a sex crime. still reading again thanks for the link.

Quote:
Of the 9,691 released sex offenders, 3.5% (339 of the 9,691) were reconvicted for a sex crime within the 3-year followup period.
wow didn't know that recidivism is almost non-existance for offenders. thank you for posting this link it actually makes sex offenders look better than what i believed.

Valigator, who touched you when you were a child? Was it your father? It's time to get counseling and start talking through some of these issues, and stop letting the anger destroy your life.

It is when you consider the larger picture of how many "regular" ex-convicts recidivate. Like I said, this is merely a part of the larger problem.

EDIT: That 43% by the way includes people arrested for technical violations of their parole as well as people returned for non-sexual offenses. Actual felony sex offenses are lower 5.3%.

So, essentially 5.3% of released sex offenders are repeat offenders.

Please cite the evidence, in this thread, where I said, "most people are stupid".

Man, you really suck at this.

My boyfriend and I will eventually have kids of our own. The thought of them being violated by these scumbags is terrifying.

To those who want to defend these scumbags, why don't you hire these bastards as your babysitter. If you want to get rid of the registry, I say you voluntarily live next to them or have them move into your home.
They're already in his home...he's one of them.

You do love to quote out of context...I guess you think it earns you brownie points
here's the whole quote:

"Yeah, I was in one of those arguments as well, when I mentioned that an aquaintence of mine was kind of stupid for going into the men's bathroom at work with a guy she didn't know, because he "needed help with a sink", and was then raped

Let me mention, this girl is NOT mentally challenged, so should have been bright enough to think..hmmm... "I am not a maintenance person, and I see no water on the floor, and most of all I don't know this guy, and I don't belong in the men's bathroom."
Now, did she deserve to be raped? ABSOLUTELY NOT! But should she have been more responsible and taken her safety more seriously, yes."

Some people, that's all they got to hold on to, sadly...and it poisons them
