The worst days were caused by weather and a lot if not most of it was residential pollution, those issue didn't exist in east coast cities like NY and Philly because of anthracite coal used for residential heating. There is no smoke or soot.

The EPA is not needed. States can mangage things on their own like they used to. All the EPA does is bully folks around and communists like Jackson at the helm only make things worse. Now breathing is pollution in these loons eyes. They should all be forced to rely on wind power the rest of their pathetic lives and see how great it all really is. Dummies.

This thread was basically one big exaggeration, according to the OP in a later post. So much wasted time and energy on a drivel. Getting the coalman and every other oil lover's blood pressure up, there should be rules and guidelines on City-Data for PWND threads.

For the not so dense who read that "later post" from the OP, it was understood that he was being facetious with that specific comment.

The facts are that she is resigning.

The facts also show she had an alias account to which was being used for official purpose.

Now you can certainly dismiss such, make accusations, and then suggest this forum apply measures that will safeguard your talking points, but that however doesn't make your jive talking fact.

I'm not counting on her resignation.

A huge sigh of relief, but she'll be back on the job in a couple of weeks. Like the State folks who resigned over Benghazi. They didn't resign at all. It was all a lie.

This probably is, too.

Speaking of which, did Anthony Weiner ever resign? I know he made noise, but last I heard, he hadn't officially resigned and was still drawing a paycheck.

Yeah, but since, relatively speaking there is not much anthracite and we tend to burn a lot of bitumious with high sulfur content we need the regulation. As to it being residential pollution that was why the environmental laws concerning it in Britain were targeted at individual coal stoves.

You do realize that anthracite is about 1% of coal. If they were just burning anthracite it would not be a problem. The problem is we burn a lot of applachian bituminous which is nothing like anthracite in terms of carbon content.

You do understand the difference between anthracite and bituminous and why restricting ourselves to burning anthracite coal would be a problem.

No, there is no freedom in doing that, even without the EPA.
If there is harm to person or property, the court system that was set up to have justice, while maintaining liberty, is right there to decide who did, what, when, why and how.

We should have the liberty and be free to do as we wish, as long as there is no harm to another's, person or property.
Preemptive laws, are restrictions on liberty and my individual freedom.
Remember the phrase, Don't Tread On Me!, It came about because individual freedom was going to be the goal.
We the people, not I the government........
