Sorry, those aren't jobs bills. They are just lower taxes and regulation bills -- the same type of bills Republicans always try to pass.
There is no evidence that jobs declined in 2008 because businesses suddenly discovered that they were subject to regulations nor they were over taxed. Businesses are sitting on trillions in cash. How will giving them more cash give them an incentive to hire more people?

Romney conveniently omitted the fact that Obama put forth such a plan last autumn. The American Jobs Act would have put as many as two million construction workers, cops, teachers, and firefighters back to work — so said economic forecasters — if only congressional Republicans hadn't dynamited it."
A billion dollars to hire 20,000 vets over 5 years? Hardly a good ROI. And how much of that would go to the vets, versus the bureaucrats that would oversea the program? It was another attempt to grow government.
It's been more than 4 years now, and the GOP is still dithering. When Obama assumed the office of the presidency, Boehner said the number one goal was to create jobs, jobs, jobs, and the list above proves otherwise.
It's presently a witch hunt now for the "R" party, looking to see who they can tar and feather in the AP and IRS flaps.
At least one republicon was honest whn he said he wanted to make Obama a one term president, but his wish, and the wishes of people who tried to buy the 2012 presidential election didn't come true.
If the republicons continue the witch hunts instead of getting down to business, voters will remember these things in 2014 and 2016 elections and begin replacing congress-persons, which would be a good thing.

This so-called "witch hunt" accusation is just another attempt to sugarcoat what IS "getting down to business". Cutting our bloated and corrupt government agencies, to put more money and power where it belongs - in the hands of the citizens.

Please, spare me, the agencies you're talking about have been in place for years, even during the Bush years too, these aren't agencies just created from this administration. Companies and corporations either adapted to the agency's rules, or they simply went out of business if they could not comply.
The bills introduced to defund and dismantle these agencies is more proof of the republican party's scorch the earth policies.
