Has The Blaze been around that long? It sure doesn't seem like it. However, you may be keeping yourself informed by reading Kos, ThinkProg and Media Matters. Somehow I wonder just how well informed you are from doing that.
Still it is a real stretch to say that advocating a ban on assault weapons constitutes the activity banned by that part of the constitution. Prohibition was once part of the Constitution. I suppose during that period any Member of Congress advocating repeal would have been unfit to hold office, based on that logic.

Dianne Feinstein has been trying to subvert ownership of certain American's guns for over 10 years. She deserves not to hold any public office nor should she be authorized to dictate which guns law abiding Americans should own. The Constitution is clear.

Yep, just as I thought. Conservatards will ban everyone else's rights - everything from the freedom to speak to the freedom to take a dump in their own homes - to preserve the "right" to own an assault rifle.
