I find it hard to believe. Facebook is filled with pro-gun stuff. Why would this be singled out?

Facebook is a company that can do whatever they want, they have no obligation to host posts they find objectionable (just like C-D)....

Besides who here gives a crap about what some pacifist fanatic had to say.....

India at the time was ruled by Great Britain and was at high risk for an invasion from Germany. Relationships along what would become the Pakistan border were precarious.Tensions amongst different Hindu and Muslim sects and were always present.

Ghandi's quote within in writings are often taken out of context. The experts who have dedicated their lives to understanding Ghandi seem to conclude the context of "depriving of the whole nation of arms" was the refusal of the British to conscript Indians into the British Army during the First World War.

Gandhi was an extreme anti-militarist. The statement is odd coming out of him, but he used the circumstance for political purposes to advance the cause of Home Rule and Independence.
