Examples are displaying crosses and Jesus statues, nativity scenes, observing more Christian national holidays, only Christians could hold public office, etc.
And another Nunnor troll thread.

Real christians?

Amazing! I take that you feel if anyone has a belief that differs from yours, they are not a "real christian". You are the sole arbiter of belief, right? Just could not even contemplate a different belief being just as valid as yours right?

Perhaps those that despise you have a valid reason with your attitudes.

And, just as a reminder, this person you worship was a Jew.

On calendars, they put Jewish holidays. In some areas, public schools are closed on Jewish high holidays.
NYC closed the public school system because 60% of the teachers were Jewish and took off for some Jewish holidays.
would you close the public school system if only 40% of teachers were going to show up to work that day?

PS some of the most important Jewish holidays are not on any calender

For a while it'd be more fun than a barrel of monkeys. Watching those Mormons and Catholics, the Southern Baptists and Congregationalists, your Presbyterians and Northern Baptists, the thousands of independent Christian churches, and your splits within each larger denomination. You think the D's and R's don't get along ?

One question. Before a candidate could run for office as a Christian would she have to prove she's Christian by taking communion, being baptized, speaking in tongues, handling a few snakes, or just swearing on an agreed upon version of the bible that she is.

As to the OP, no religion should be favored by the federal government. The government shouldn't be entertaining arbitors of hocus pocus on any level.

Christianity is a moronic cult of superstitions, fairy tales and imaginary friends. You need to have something wrong in your brain to believe in that nonsense.

You need to have something wrong in your brain to think you have all the answers.

And this Judeo-Christian thing, where did that come from? It is spoken as if Jews helped form America when the truth is they weren't even around other than being involved in the slave trade from Europe.

Where are all these Jews who signed the Declaration of Independence putting their lives and fortune on the line toward the formation of a new country?
The term came from a letter of Thomas Jefferson's.

Judaism is the basis for Christianity. THAT'S where the term Judeo-Christian comes from.

Non sequitur: It's too bad the Muslims didn't have a Thomas Jefferson type of guy.

Judeo-Christo-Islamo, yeah that could work.
