Would you feel offended if Christians were always favored over all other religions/irreligious by the federal government, or you wouldn't care?
Examples are displaying crosses and Jesus statues, nativity scenes, observing more Christian national holidays, only Christians could hold public office, etc.
We have separation of church and state for a reason, one religion ruling everyone, regardless of their religion is tyranny. Also, we have freedom of and "from" religion. Many christians seem to think they are better or that their religion is the only one that could be right. Never will christianity rule the US of A. I voted no, how did you vote, OP?

I wouldn't care because Christians (and Jews) are favored at some point by the government anyway
I often wonder where this "separation of church and state" comes from because the first amendment says
Quote:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
Nothing about a wall.
And this Judeo-Christian thing, where did that come from? It is spoken as if Jews helped form America when the truth is they weren't even around other than being involved in the slave trade from Europe.
Where are all these Jews who signed the Declaration of Independence putting their lives and fortune on the line toward the formation of a new country?

Where are all the signers of the Declaration of Independence that said it was done with the specific intent of forming a nation based in any religion?
