More taxes to pay for another layer of bureaucracy in a more distant and less representative governing body.

More wealth redistribution.

More laws.

Let's think about this..... How effective has the UN been? How smoothly have things gone for the European Union? How did the Union of the Soviet Socialist Republic do?

competition within the governing industry is extremely important. being able to vote with your feet is perhaps the most important right you have.
