Many Republicans, like their pseudo Kristian supporters, value appearance over reality. They claim to support a free market yet establish near monopolies in energy and food. They claim to support peace but live on military procurement. Above all they say they are for the little guy but set tax policies that create and protect a plutocracy. Above all they excel at "Hear what I say but ignore what I do."

Are you saying the ones in the west dont? Other than limiting births, that is.

Whether i would like to live and work there is a strategic decision. I very well may choose to do that once western politicians have destroyed our lifestyle sufficiently, and Chinese ones have elevated theirs sufficiently. Rome wasnt built in a day. What I will say is what took europe and the US hundreds of years to achieve, the chinese have done in a couple of short decades.
