I doubt these shops would be taken over.
These guys are out there. They'd be the guys the cops ran to like in the LA bank robbery in the 90s.
But if it were to happen so what? Then a crime is afoot and property rights go out the window...
Though cops don't actually have to do anything to save them in any case.
