You're extremely confused, but certainly not alone. Anarchy, simply defined, is the absence of government where the individual enjoys full freedom. This is considered a political ideal, and frankly, for the majority of Americans prior to the 20th Century, was a common circumstance.

Though we've always had a Federal government, for the majority of our country's history, it played little to no role in the lives of the majority of the people, and they did just fine on their own, without the interference. I know the very idea is a frightening thought to the liberal authority worshiping sycophant, but we would be a lot better off if 90% of the federal government were to disappear.

By the way .... with regard to peace .... governments world wide murdered over 200 Million people in just the 20th Century, and engaged in two World Wars, and countless regional conflicts. That doesn't sound very peaceful to me ... what about you? You think government is peaceful?

No. The people who cry freedom the most seem to be talking about freedom for them and not others.

They also think of themselves as the "big dogs" in their Utopia of unrestrained activities.

"They" never learned the lesson that no matter how big the bully; there's some David with his sling shot ready to ding their sorry azzes from afar then walk in and loot their storehouse of weapons and food.

All these internet toughies hoping for armeggadon can't get a grip on the fact they'd be among the first casualties because they don't tend to play well with others.

If history has taught us one lesson; it's banding together and forming cohesive units of some kind, with rules of societal behaviour acceptable to the majority, survive for some time while lone wolves simply disappear from the scene altogether.

A certain trust is paramount within any group and who would trust the guy constantly calling for no rules, oversight, restraint or co-operation. Rather he'd be viewed as a major PITA nuisance and marginalized/eradicated at first opportunity so ALL the others could relax and breath easier.

So - basically illiterate hunter-gatherer? Not sure I agree with that lifestyle being all that awesome, but to each their own, I guess.

I for one prefer the sort of human society that allows us to build cathedrals and printing presses, write cantatas and manifests, develop procedures for performing appendectomies under anesthesia and so on and so forth.

Around here, it sure looks like Thomas Hobbes just wasted paper, ink and time.

So- called sovereign state citizens have their own rhetoric/ robotic speech pattern and trend exploitive fraudsters and the ultimate takers. Some:

-Live off the grid and are benign
-Are perpetual adult children living in their parents' basements or childhood bedrooms
-Are drug addicts
-Clog up court system arguing basic traffic violations and crimes for the sport
-Are employed and may be more likely to seek employment in union shops which seems contrary to the purpose of the movement.
-Call themselves Christains.
- Maintain substantial arsenols of weapons and are fully prepared to become violent to protect their sovereign rights
-Do not recognize authority
-Decline driver's license, car registrations, insurance and call their cars something else
-Ignore traffic laws
-Decline to use Social Security #
-Decline marriage license
-Do not obtain birth certificates for their children
-Homeschool or don't school
-Refuse to pay taxes
-Engage in welfare fraud
-Are mentally ill
-Look for the loopholes
-Incur substantial unsecured credit card debt and when it's convenient, default
-Refuse to pay their mortgage/property tax obligation and live for free as long as possible
-Break in and squat on property and attempt to establish residency via eminent domain. Bank-owned, unoccupied estate owned properties and snow bird properties are especially vunlnerable and targeted.
-Cherry-pick the law, as convenient
-Post on internet forums, like CD

So yeah, the range is benign to common criminal to potential terrorism.

You want to return to the Late Medieval Period?

I notice that you started with living off the grid and called that benign and ended with posting on internet forums such as CD.

Are you calling yourself a potential terrorist?

I suppose that is why so many of those clamored for statehood.
