Domestic terrorism: The benefits of hindsight | The Economist

The Economist has an excellent article in this week's issue about right wing domestic terrorism in the US, how the Republican Party is aiding and abetting it by attempting to shut down all discussion about the problem, and how right wing domestic terrorism amounts to vastly more violent attacks than any other source. Right wing domestic terrorism is the cancer which is eating away at America's very soul yet to even mention it results in howls of outrage from the bigoted right. It's a subject the RWNJs refuse to even admit exists even as the body count rises.

Well that certainly blows the race baiting premise of this thread out of the water then.

Sociologists call it "social revenge" and it's more prevalent among the younger, always connected generation.

I really doubt it's about politics of the right vs the left with a 17 year old.
Hate crimes don't hold political allegiance.

True - but that has nothing to do with politics.
