You are the one who is generalizing. There is no reson for the EPA to issue these credits to then sell to the evil energy companies for a profit. That is the EPA punishing one sector and benifitting another. Government needs to go away real fast or we will all be in dire straits soon. They haven't even started the fracking war yet. Everybody loves natural gas now but when they fire off the usual BS studies and reports look out.

Actually I am not generalizing anything, I was simply commenting on your own generalization comments.
Also, I don't like the whole natural gas thing because we only have enough to last about 75-120 years....how many generations do you honestly think natural gas is going to last for? Our grandchildren will be screwed cause we didn't do any real action today and simply kicked the can down the road for them.

When President Jimmy Carter installed a solar-powered water-heating system at the White House in the late 1970s, solar panels cost about $15 per watt of electricity generated, or about $50 in current dollars, according to GTM Research, a consulting firm that co-wrote the new report. Now they average about 84 cents a watt.
Apart from a boondoggle, green energy is the future.
Chris Christie isn't worried about his fat a$$. He's going to buy some calorie offsets from a skinny guy in Somalia. Next time his doctor ******* he can redeem his skinny credits. I hear they are worth $10,000 a pound.

It certainly has a place in certain areas but it's a net energy loser overall. It's not green factoring the total life cycle.
As long as money flows into the industry there will be R&D to develop the next generation of solar.
