Democrats, and particularly people who voted for President Obama, were "warned" that some cheap bastard would use a tiny increase in state taxes as an excuse to stiff waitresses?

also, why do you people keep mentioning Taxes as if they actually went up ? the only tax that went up was from the payroll holiday which Obama himself enacted, that republicans said they would not have as part of this fiscal cliff deal(the exact time it expired).

I also do not remember president Bush ever lobbing for his tax cuts to be made permanent, i remember him saying they should be extended because of the current economic circumstances, but never saying they should be permanent. That has been something congressional republicans have said, but not the President himself..
The deficit for the 2013 fiscal year will be 901 billion dollars(projected), that is 2 billion less than the year before which was 2 billion less than the year before that. Your argument is lacking facts.

Social Security is paying OUT more then it takes in, and has been since 2010. It was foolish to reduce the amount it was taking in. It will be broke sooner then previously predicted.
Why do you bring up Bush? He didn't extend the tax cuts. Obama did. AND it was Obama who enacted the "payroll "tax. He didn't even have the courage to call it what it was, a Social Security tax holiday.
