I'm not going to have messed up pieces of RNA injected into my body, if you want that, go right ahead. I'd rather just get the real thing and build up my immune system.

According to WHO "Worldwide, these annual epidemics result in about three to five million cases of severe illness, and about 250 000 to 500 000 deaths"

I'm guessing that it happens today as well. Guess what. Poor person in Africa not news worthy as White 17 year old in US.

I think your stance is a little self centered, as this really hurts kids under 2 and adults over 65. Being immune is for them, not for the 3-64 year olds.

Death isn't the issue, of course. . .for most people. The funny thing is that the reaction to actually getting the flu is sooo significantly worse than any of the vac's side effects. Kind of funny how wimpy people are about a little shot.

Not all of the side effects are so benign. I wouldn't call Guillien Barre (even though it is thankfully a relatively rare side effect) benign.

The relationship of Giillain-Barre syndrom to influenza vaccine, if it exists at all, has never been proven.

Except for the new Flublok vaccine, no flu vaccine uses recombinant DNA.

Do you know anyone who uses insulin?

They probably use insulin made by bacteria with recombinant gene technogy.

Humulin - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The product is identical to human insulin.

And others:

Drug products of recombinant DNA technology. [Am J Hosp Pharm. 1989] - PubMed - NCBI

Necessity is the mother, sometimes, of all mothers.

Just another vector of genetic modification of human beings.

Nothing new here, folks. Move along.
