Yeah, with all this ''deflection'' and the ''it ain't me, so it can't be true'' excuses, isn't this thread really just a perfect example of what Powell's talking about (and how it persists in both the GOP, and the South)...?

Correct, and as 2012 and 2008 showed, as the smallest voting block behind Dems and independents, this radical right fascination with labeling minor variations RINOs is cutting ones nose off to spite ones face.

One week from today, they can see the fruits of their labor..the 1/20 inaugeration.

The GOP has not truly been beaten on a national level. It committed suicide.

Oh, so we are going to bring Sarah Palin into this now, are we? Rich.

Palin isn't a "hick" nor is she ignorant. But, we aren't going to begin a new defense of Palin. No defense is needed. Nice try at deflection.

Powell is just an ass. What more can be said? He is a "has been." Maybe he had some military successes (I have forgotten what made him "great." Was he?) Who is Colin Powell?

Can you name another Democrat Powell endorsed for President?

Kerry?

Gore?

Clinton?

Dukakis?

Mondale?

Carter?

Yeah, Obama is a special guy in Powell's world.

The problem for Powell isn't anything Rev Write has said or Obama spending twenty years in his church but Palin saying "shuckin' and jivin'".

The fact that you defend a racists like Powell, Obama and Wright speaks for itself.
You should read this: The claim that 'Jewish lobby' is anti-Semitic term is cynical and hypocritical -- Siegman

We don't have "trouble with minorites." Only in the minds of liberals, who ignore the minority Republicans who have made significant contributions to the Conservative cause. And there are many. But you people pretend they don't exist. That is your problem. Not ours.

She also thought Africa was a country.

She was the mayor of Wasilia. You can't see Russia from there. Either she really is dimwitted, or she was lying.
