Who is claiming that they are incapable of paying their own way?

Your post sounds a little misguided. Who is making claims that they are incapable of paying their own way in life? Where is your backbone? Aren't strong enough to say directly what you mean?

Heavy advertising that being on the dole is completely normal and acceptable.

Remove the stigma and modify the program so that the poor conduct their spending just like middle class America. Why they even consider themselves middle class now if you read enough articles.

The only advertising I have seen is a picture of a child and the statements of not allowing them to go hungry. How dare they advertise that! So they should be ostracized for being on government assistance?

There should be a differentiation between middle class and poor people? How dare these sub-humans think themselves to be humans!! I guess if children start starving to death and dying in the streets, it's fine with you. As long as they aren't on the government's teat, like the wealthy and the government workers themselves (legislative, executive, judicial) I guess they are the only ones who should be able to squeeze money out of the tax payers.

Also, how do you all who are against government assistance because of the fraudlent claims that have happened and the loss of money, how do you plan to determine who goes on the program and who does not. What is your solution to cut the 1% fraud and deceptiveness down to 0% or 0.1%?? All I am hearing is bytch bytch bytch bytch, whine, whine, whine, then bytch bytch some more, without a solution. What is the solution?

Then you missed the "Food stamps makes America stronger" campaign by the USDA.
Do your civic duty to keep America strong; encourage people to apply for food stamps.

The solution is to increase taxes so that we can cover the growing number of people on the government dole programs, that's the solution. I'm not proposing cutting at all. I'd like to see a tad more oversight on fraud and corruption though.

Your solution is raise taxes, huh? How about cutting some of the wasteful DOD spending? Or how about cutting into corporate welfare?

So, you're NOT "proposing cutting at all" and that's why you complain so very loudly in every single food stamp thread that is posted on this site, because you are AGAINST cutting funds at all for that program.

Exactly how much is "a tad"? How much would "a tad" cost? How many employees would be involved in "a tad"?

And how should the government go about viewing fraud and corruption? Do you know that more tax dollars will be spent on hiring more people to do these extensive researches? What else can they do aside from what they do already which forever terminating a person's eligibility in the program? Making them pay the money that was given to them back and or sentence them to jail or prison?

It is a sad day when a hard working American who is struggling is chastised for complaining about the lazy suck the life out of other Americans on the dole.

It is sad when people are proud to be on welfare.
