No need to ban, just don't ask me to clean up your friggen house (or invest in fixing your roads) when it hits. If you want to live on the coast, fine, you should absorb the extra cost
That would move people

An estimated 20,000 men, women and CHILDREN die every year from these monster storms and reportedly 150 people died from the latest hurricane Sandy. Hurricane Katrina killed over 1,800 people in a matter of days and nothing has been done to bring these killers to justice! This carnage needs to end before they strike again and we all know it is only a matter of time before one of these bloodthirsty storms strike again.
What are the best options to prevent this from happening again? Should we relocate people to the midwest? Annex Canada and put them there? If it saves one child's life it will be worth it.

"In the United States, tropical cyclones caused annual average damages of $1.6 billion between 1950-1989, and of $6.2 billion between 1989-1995. 2 Hurricane Andrew, which struck south Florida and Louisiana in 1992, is the costliest storm on record, at $30 billion in total losses and $16 billion in insured losses."
