There is nothing wrong with this list? There is plenty wrong with this list, this is again going to do nothing at all to curb gun violence, but I don't expect the majority of people to think rationally or have common sense.

-another quazi-Czar
-more invasion of 4th amendment
-more reckless spending when we don't have money to pay our bills, let alone expand a sterile cause
-expansion of Medicard
-expansion of CDC
-expansion of ATF
-infringing on private health records

Probably more, but lets leave it at that. These are terrible EOs, but when people already have a 10 year sample size of an "assault weapon ban" which in reality did nothing to curb violence and then they want to repeat it again because it feels good makes me remember that we have a nation of morons.

You people are as stupid as I thought you were.

- Responsible gun owner

In Florida there is no permit requirement, and the dealers at the gunshows are required to run the back ground check, but private non-dealers are not.

The proposal would be that when a private person sells a gun to anohter private person, the transaction would take place at a local dealer who would run the background check on the buyer.

why bother, if a private person wants to sell their firearm privately, then any private transaction is exactly that, private.

even if a back ground check is done, then no 4473 should be attached with the new owner and the firearm.

The idea is to keep the gang bangers and sickos from walking into gun show parking lots to pick up any weapon they want. This proposal has 80% support, while all the other measures like reduced magazine capasity, have much less support.

great, do the background check, just keep the 4473 off of a private sale.

Why would any person who is not a criminal be against criminal background checks for all gun purchases? Do you really want to sell your gun to someone who is going to use it in violent crime?

[quote=Finn_Jarber;27794744]Reason for outrage? Some lawmakers say this is "tyrannical".

Today, the President is announcing that he and the Administration will:

1. Issue a Presidential Memorandum to require federal agencies to make relevant data available to the federal background check system.

2. Address unnecessary legal barriers, particularly relating to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, that may prevent states from making information available to the background check system.

3. Improve incentives for states to share information with the background check system.

4. Direct the Attorney General to review categories of individuals prohibited from having a gun to make sure dangerous people are not slipping through the cracks.

5. Propose rulemaking to give law enforcement the ability to run a full background check on an individual before returning a seized gun.

6. Publish a letter from ATF to federally licensed gun dealers providing guidance on how to run background checks for private sellers.

7. Launch a national safe and responsible gun ownership campaign.

8. Review safety standards for gun locks and gun safes (Consumer Product Safety Commission).

9. Issue a Presidential Memorandum to require federal law enforcement to trace guns recovered in criminal investigations.

10. Release a DOJ report analyzing information on lost and stolen guns and make it widely available to law enforcement.

11. Nominate an ATF director.

12. Provide law enforcement, first responders, and school officials with proper training for active shooter situations.

13. Maximize enforcement efforts to prevent gun violence and prosecute gun crime.

14. Issue a Presidential Memorandum directing the Centers for Disease Control to research the causes and prevention of gun violence.

15. Direct the Attorney General to issue a report on the availability and most effective use of new gun safety technologies and challenge the private sector to develop innovative technologies

16. Clarify that the Affordable Care Act does not prohibit doctors asking their patients about guns in their homes.

17. Release a letter to health care providers clarifying that no federal law prohibits them from reporting threats of violence to law enforcement authorities.

18. Provide incentives for schools to hire school resource officers.

19. Develop model emergency response plans for schools, houses of worship and institutions of higher education.

20. Release a letter to state health officials clarifying the scope of mental health services that Medicaid plans must cover.

21. Finalize regulations clarifying essential health benefits and parity requirements within ACA exchanges.

22. Commit to finalizing mental health parity regulations.

23. Launch a national dialogue led by Secretaries Sebelius and Duncan on mental health.[/quote

From the administration that let guns walk into the criminals hands without tracking them , fast and furious and then the big coverup this is all from manipulator and chief Obama. Obama giving an executive order to cover and save Holder because Obama is a snake.

Yes this is outrageous. Obama is such a hypocrite it is unbelievable how Obama can even face the people on gun control. How many people were killed by these guns from fast and furious that walked without being traced? Obama didn't care about that at all and Holder is such a liar as well.

Would you like to elaborate a little about the specific EOs and explain why they are "outrageous". Screaming "Obama sucks" is not an explanation.

I seriously doubt that this list accurately describes the EOs that Obama is issuing.

It is the list he issued. The other list is his "recommendations" which is meaningless because it is not a bill, and Congress will, or will not create laws regarding regulation, but I don't see any chance of anything passing, except maybe the "universal background checks".
