What happened to the actual turbine blade? Please link to the bolt story so we can put this one to rest.

Hah I remember that story a few years ago. It was metal fatigue not aliens.

There should not have been any blades being removed without the knowledge and consent of the owners (whether the owner is a person or a corp.). Unfortunately, we will probably never hear the "rest of the story" (as Paul Harvey used to say).
Me too.... I have seen these blades in transport. 1 per truck...... Where is it?

It fell off due to bolt failure. And the "bright flashing spheres" - the UFOs - people saw was a fireworks display being put on by the Bell family for the 80th birthday party of Peter Bell (the family even took some picture, see the second link).

LOL. The UFO aspect of this still cracks me up. Don't get me wrong, I tend to believe this planet has been visited, but they aren't going to be some super-evolved alien species with the technology to travel millions/billions of light years just to crash into a wind farm in England.

People seem to forget that UFO (unidentified flying object) doesn't equal extraterrestrials.

Some unidentified object flying in the sky seems to have broken a wind turbine?
