Reagan was for gun control before he was ever elected President. The representative for this gun irights group is not only ignorant but also hypocritical

Republicans cling to Reagan the same way Dems cling to Clinton and Obama.

"We're told it was better back then so it must be true."

Unfortunately every president since Wilson has been a tyrant with the brief exception of Kennedy.

The times were different back then, so it was ok for Reagan to want to ban assault weapons.

Besides Reagan wore a cowboy hat for photo ops, so that means he's pro guns
