Well not everybody smokes weed 24/7. Just like not everybody drinks booze 24/7. Moderation is your friend.

Are you a "user" of alcohol, millermatic? I know more than a few people who make a ton of money at good jobs or own their own "job" that smoke. I'm not a smoker, but seriously dude, weed is not just for drop out hippies.

On another note, I think we should celebrate as this is the first time in history that KUchief and I agree!

Probably has more to do with your area and circle of friends than the pot smoking. I know physicians, engineers, lawyers, teachers who are pot smokers.

Bill Buckley supported drug legalization based on conservative ideology. Legalization is the conservative position.

Ok, and there have been child molesters who were teachers, lawyers and engineers as well

So, try again

If you want the best argument for legalizing it say "we can take the criminal element out and tax it and pay for healthcare partly with it"....... then you would be taken more seriously

I have been a legalization advocate since the 90's, if you want people to listen, you need coherant arguments

THREAD FAIL

Why a thread fail? What party wants to legalize and what party is opposed to it?

You can say the same for an alcoholic. Not every marijuana user is a stoner who is high all the time. Some like to use it every now and then to have a good time. Unfortunately, in some states that can mean a felony record or in Oklahoma's case, life in prison.
