And if you want to try and get him fired, the head of the Combating Terrorism Center is retired 4-star general John Abizaid.
abizaid is a globalist.

John P. Abizaid retired from the United States Army in May, 2007, after 34 years of active service where he rose to Four-Star General in the Army. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the International Institute for Strategic Studies, and serves as a Director of the George Olmsted Foundation. In addition, through his consulting company, JPA Partners LLC, General Abizaid advises small businesses as well as Fortune 500 companies nationally and internationally, and serves on the board of directors for both USAA, a private financial services company serving the U.S. military, and RPM, Inc., a NYSE traded public company.

also heads vast exploration, inc:
Vast Exploration Inc. is an independent oil and gas company, and a partner of Niko Resources Ltd. Vast is focused on the exploration and development of its principal asset, the Qara Dagh Block, in the Kurdistan region of Iraq.

surprised?

ka-ching.
he isn't going to be fired by this administration.

What is the limit of conservatives craziness? So our president is crazy, the government is crazy, heck you just said right now that our future troops and servicemen can't be trusted...did it ever occur to you that maybe just maybe you right wingers are the problem?

What in the study do you disagree with?

any government related security agency or law enforcement agency is going to want u to tow the agency line. that is why applicants to the state department did a class action suit for employment rejections based on their party affiliations.

The writer is this guy, a Israeli. He directs the center’s terrorism studies and teaches social sciences at West Point.

Dr. Arie Perliger

He should be given a loyalty litmus test and asked, "are you an Israel-Firster or an America-Firster?"

From your link, that you never seem to read:
A West Point think tank has issued a paper warning America about “far right” groups such as the “anti-federalist” movement, which supports “civil activism, individual freedoms and self-government.”
The report issued this week by the Combating Terrorism Center at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, N.Y., is titled “Challengers from the Sidelines: Understanding America’s Violent Far-Right.”

By definition a paper issued by a "think tank" is by definition an exercise in critical thinking.

More than one person was involved with it. Credits were given to several in the introduction.

If that sort of poor history writing gets respect there I'd venture a guess that the quality of education there has gone downhill, or perhaps, they're so consumed with politics they don't care. Perhaps West Point is looking for people who will just follow orders and not care about individual freedom nor worry about the dangers of a tyrannical government.

Since you're reading it much more closely than I am, can you list for me the things you find to be historically inaccurate.

And again, there is only on author. In the acknowledgement section he thanks the people who reviewed his work and served as a sounding board during his writing of it.

The reason for this must be the large influx of affirmative action cadets into the academy, whose minds must be directed into seeing the 'far-right' as an enemy, rather than seeing the Israel-Firsters and AIPAC/SPLC/ADL as such. This is brainwashing (indoctrination) pure and simple. “civil activism, individual freedoms and self-government.” You'd think the counter to that would be the organization you'd warn people against. And this is now coming from West Point Academy. As a former Vietnam veteran with 20 years of service to the U.S. Army, I am disgusted.

The report also draws a link between the mainstream conservative movement and the violent “far right,” and describes liberals as “future oriented” and conservatives as living in the past.
“While liberal worldviews are future- or progressive -oriented, conservative perspectives are more past-oriented, and in general, are interested in preserving the status quo.” the report says. “The far right represents a more extreme version of conservatism, as its political vision is usually justified by the aspiration to restore or preserve values and practices that are part of the idealized historical heritage of the nation or ethnic community.”
The report adds: “While far-right groups’ ideology is designed to exclude minorities and foreigners, the liberal-democratic system is designed to emphasize civil rights, minority rights and the balance of power.”
The report says there were 350 “attacks initiated by far-right groups/individuals” in 2011.

This is the reality of far right conservatives. They have a fantasy version of America that excludes millions of their fellow Americans and they are increasingly talking about acts of terrorism where they kill people to spark a civil war.

The core of conservatism is exclusion.
