I'd say it is happening again and with nobody questioning it! They must feel Uber important to be helping the Gov spread their propaganda....
I'd say this is how obama got re elected so they can try to change the constitution and take away our rights little by little to the sheeple pull your head out of the sand people our government nor any other countries is for us and they should not be trusted to do what is best for us the people!
Sad sad thing as it is to change this we must educate ourselves apart from the gov talking points and look at all avenues of information and I know that is a new concept for some and even scary but it must be done.

According to the Congress report published in 1976:
The CIA currently maintains a network of several hundred foreign individuals around the world who provide intelligence for the CIA and at times attempt to influence opinion through the use of covert propaganda.
IDAHO Senator Frank Church argued that misinforming the world cost American taxpayers an estimated $265 million a year.
The first tier of the nine giant firms that dominate the world are Time Warner/AOL, Disney/ABC, Bertelsmann, Viacom/CBS, Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation/Fox, General Electric/NBC, Sony, Universal/Seagram, Tele-Communications, Inc. or TCI and AT&T. This is just the head of the octopus which has its second and third tier tentacles working together in unison or feigned division.
