[quote=simetime;27927968]Ah! But you did not say that we went into depression which was something that he avoided. You also did not mention how we got there in the first place[/quote

Perhaps, but the proper analysis yelds that much of the country did, if you analyze, unemployment etc., as they did in the Great Depression. But that is like saying a surgeon who botched a surgery, and cost the patient the use of their legs "avoided destroying the patients arms" as if that is a positive thing, overall.

Opps, my mistake, We got there by electing Democrats as the majority partiy for both the House and Senate.

Better yet, what does anyone think willard could have done to stop Chrysler/Jeep from expanding it's manufacturing to China? ans. nothing, and that friends, is free enterprise and globalization.

PolitiFact Lie of the Year is true

PolitiFact's anointed 'Lie of the Year' was actually true, reports say

PolitiFact loudly proclaimed its "Lie of the Year" to be Mitt Romney’s statement that Jeep would be moving production from the U.S. to China. Romney made the remark during a campaign stop in Ohio and criticized Obama for the move. In response, PolitiFact called Romney a liar and lambasted The Drudge Report for picking up the story when Jeep's parent company denied it. However, Reuters is reporting 100,000 Jeeps will be made in China during 2014. PolitiFact, instead of immediately apologizing, instead conceded the "Lie of the Year" was based in an actual "grain of truth" — then backtracked by saying Jeep building cars in China is a good thing because it’s for a Chinese market, so it basically doesn’t count for the spin they put on Romney's comments. It is still a lie.

Well the mental case and his giant wife that currently occupy the White House certainly don't seem to have any solutions.

Did anyone ever tell you that it's OK to disagree without calling someone else's post "inane"?

Or, aren't you interested in discussing the topic?

Try this for starters:

Whoops: PolitiFact's 'Lie of the Year' Turns Out to Be True

"Public expressed collective outrage"? That's essentially wishcasting on the part of PolitiFact, nor are they accurately representing what Mitt Romney said in the ad. In fact, here's PolitiFact's original "fact check" on the matter:

[Mitt Romney] Says Barack Obama "sold Chrysler to Italians who are going to build Jeeps in China" at the cost of American jobs.

Reuters) - Fiat (FIA.MI) and its U.S. unit Chrysler expect to roll out at least 100,000 Jeeps in China when production starts in 2014 as they seek to catch up with rivals in the world's biggest car market.
Output could double, the Italian carmaker's Chief Executive Sergio Marchionne, without giving a precise timeframe.
Fiat sees at least 100,000 Jeeps made in China in 2014 | Reuters

Like I said, those are Jeeps that could have been produced here.

And Romney was right.
Where are they going to be sold?

Hmmm, I wonder how far that we would be if we did not have to paid for a war that should not have happened in the first place, which we will be paying for fo rthe next 20 years.

There are alot of things that I will blame Obama for doing and not doing but until you admit that mitt flipped flopped so many times that fish out of water were getting lessons from him AND that an inept congress blocking everything that could help the American people there really is no need of the bickering among the masses
