Man you guys are nut jobs, I mean its unreal. Still buying into the anti-civil rights propaganda from the 60s I see. It just keeps getting crazier here on the CD.

They read a story about him, listened to the "I Have a Dream" speech and talked about the civil rights movement. Horrifying, I know. @@

Those Dixiecrats had an ideology so right-wing, they make the Teabaggers look centrist.

Why do you think LBJ lamented that he had just lost the South for 40 years after signing the Civil Rights Act? He knew how wicked people were there, and he was right.

That picture about MLK being at a communist training school what shown to be a fraud long ago. It was used by the John Birch Society on a billboard, around the time when Buckley could not accept the group because he found it too racist. MLK was no communist and removed communists from the SCLC.

On MLK Day I suggest you have your daughter eat lunch with someone of another race, or at least someone she does not normally talk to. In that small way you could be fostering brotherhood and equality among people.

If you can't celebrate MLK, at least support his ideals. That would make our country better.
