So, the conservative ideal would be for everyone to own their own businesses. Right. They would have no employees, since everyone is busy running their own businesses. That doesn't make sense.
I hope you didn't have any employees. It would have been hell for them to work for you. After all, look at the disdain you show for 'employees'.
I suppose to be looked upon with any respect by a conservative, a person MUST own a business and not be an employee.

For Democrats the opposition to Bush was about policy. For Republicans however, the opposition to Obama goes much further. It is much more personal ranging from things as superficial as his skin color to disputing the proven fact that he is a U.S. citizen.
You must have a short memory... there was a lot of anti-Texan sentiment with Bush, name-calling (hillbilly/hick/redneck), calling him a dummy because of his accent, etc. It was more than just policy, you are wrong. Even mainstream entertainers and Hollywood got in on it, unlike with Obama where it's the opposite, so stop your whining.
As far as the large numbers at the inauguration, I'm not surprised. The weather was perfect, and I'm aware that Obama is seen as a god and savior by many... which is creepy and even dangerous, not something to brag about.

Actually the core of conservatism is personal accountability and reality. Leftists like to dream about hope & change and pie in the sky ideals while blaming others for their failures. Where has any of that gotten us over the last four years? This is why the people mentioned in your post obviously voted for Obama despite his endless epic failures.

President Obama is easily the most popular US President in recent memory. His 2013 Inauguration, although down from the epic turnout at his 2009 Inaugural, is still greater than the inaugurals of all previous Presidents in history. In fact you could add up the inaugurals of the two Bushes together and it would still fall short of Obama's 2013 numbers.

It must suck to be a Republican in the Obama era. It's one thing to contend with the crushing defeats at the polls, but two epic turnouts in a row at his inauguration must be next to unbearable for them.

Another interesting tidbit, Obama got more individual contributions from average Americans than any other President in history. Also more people signed up and participated in his campaign than any Presidential campaign in history.
Obama is a great President on so many levels.
So why are we $16 trillion in debt, why is the economy so sluggish, why did we need an emergency renewal of the unemployment extension, why are 16 million more people on food stamps, and why is the US poverty at a fifty year high, and why is the Mid East imploding? Oh yeah, because "Obama is a great President on so many levels."
I don't care if two million people attended his inauguration, that won't change any of the economic problems we have.

Pointing out the reality of your expressed disregard for millions of your fellow Americans and that conservatives in general hold a similarly disparaging view about millions of fellow Americans is addressing reality that goes beyond this thread.
Obama will bring in many fans with the radical networks who are behind the positive image making of this president. The Communists are very happy to have Obama in office.
Obama is the most unbalanced mentally inept president I have ever seen. His words, actions shows that his view of the United States is steeped in contempt for the history of America and his level of resentment of slavery makes Obama the most left anti-American racial president to ever hold office. Obama is mentally imbalanced in regards to race, God and the Constitution and disrespects the balance of power in our government.
