If the teachers were armed or they had armed security guards, the shooter could have been stopped. This is a prime example.

State Senator Brian Birdwell of Grandbury has filed a bill that would allow students to carry concealed weapons on public university campuses. A similar bill was close to passing in 2011 until it was blocked in the Senate.

Why doesn't everyone chill out until the situation is settled?

OP - this thread is in very poor taste. It is bad enough to politicize a tragedy - but you are doing so when an event is ongoing.
