Go ahead everyone, look up what this poster cited and look at the actual regulation......
From what I can see, it excepts schools to give permission to individuals to carry a firearm. That'd be for things like unsworn officers. I doubt the school has a concealed-carry policy.
Really? I had several guns while living on post...so did the other guys who registered them, (on post).
Hell, they even sell guns on certain bases now....
I guess you just don't know what you talking about....
I don't know what base you were living on, the regulations concerning private ownership in military residences for officers, etc may be different but field soldiers need to check their guns in when not in use. What military base allows the sale of guns?

Redstone Arsenal, Ft. Wainwright, Ft. Rucker, Ft. Campbell, Luke Air Force base.....numerous other....
You can also have weapons in on-post housing, as long as you register them.....(post dependent).
The only reason it was and still is, is because it fit there agenda, at first....then they found out it was not a "school shooting" but a shooting at a school that involved 2 people who had a problem with each other....
So, how long will this be in the MSM.................I give it till Friday and you will not hear about it again....

Interesting and surprised, they have some strict regulations for on base use, registration and only long rifles from what I have seen but still kind of surprising. I don't see that larger bases like Ft Hood allow on base shops and most will not allow weapons in the general quarters.
