Low skilled workers are not permitted entry if the country does not have a need for them. Canada has a list of preferred occupations that give you more points than non preferred occupations.

It must be hard for all these racist these days. They now hate the US since a black man is president, but they have nowhere to go. Everywhere else is even more liberal/socialist/tolerant/strick gun laws/forbids hate speech.

Canada has the highest percentage of University graduates in the world, at 53 percent of our total population. The USA ranks at 30 percent.

Low crime rates, a immigration policy that meets our national needs and a world wide reputation as a "good neighbour ".

Seventy percent of our Immigrants hold a 4 year University degree, at a minimum.

The only country that has ever tried to invade Canada.......is the USA, twice.

Most Americans have no idea what Canada is like, on a personal level. Millions of Americans have never been here, but you would be hard pressed to find a Canadian who has not travelled to the states.

About 900,000 American citizens live and work in Canada to day. Where did I get that number......in the last US Presidential election , that was the number of ąbsentee ballots `cast from Canada.

About 25,000 Americans are accepted as Immigrants to Canada, per year.

We are the second largest country in the world in land mass ( only Russia is bigger than Canada ) but our population is only 34 million ( about 10 percent of the USA`s population. We can accomodate a lot more people in the future, and we currently accept a million new comers, every 5 years. With in the first 8 years of being in Canada, 70 percent of them have become Canadian citizens.

A safe, clean, polite, and educated nation......right next door.

Toronto.
And the climate???

Considering I wouldn't be interested in any country that doesn't suit my southern U.S. weather preferences, I'd have to say, 'Outside of northern Australia, Probably not.'

Australia is not easy to move to. It is also a expensive process. Yet if you have skills that is in Mining or are in the medical field then the process would be a bit easier.

What if low skilled or unneeded workers just walk across the border and set up shop, have children and so on?

What happens then?

Scandinavian countries rank higher than the US in terms of social/economic mobility, income equality, and have just as much freedom.
