A woman should not have to risk her health and life for an unwanted pregnancy.
Even in this day and age, women die from pregnancy.....it's not something you can predict ahead of time. If a woman does not want to take that risk....her choice....no one elses.
Another thing I would like to point out...... most women who have late term abortions really want a baby, but something has gone horribly wrong. They should not be vilified.
No one has a problem if the mother's life really is in danger but that is a very small percentage. It would depend on "what went horribly wrong." If the baby will have Downs then, as I say, there are many people who would adopt those babies.
The main topic here is abortion and most abortions happen in the first trimester.
1,500 kids die every year from child abuse and neglect. If we assume that number has held constant over 40 years that comes out to 60,000 dead kids. Now compare that to 55,000 abortions...

Let's be realistic here, if the kids is mentally slow it's going to be on ssdi for life and probably won't get a job. Even if the kid was normal the kid may not have a job.

it is her choice if she wants to take that pregnancy to term. she is not a "breeder" for other people. what don't you get about the pregnancy being her personal business?

I guess that is none of your business if people are willing to take on the care of that child and pay for all the child's expenses. There is no proof he will be on ssdi for life.
Why don't you you do something for someone you care about and let the original poster do what he or she wants? If you don't care about the issue, then you're free to not click on the thread. It's not up to you to tell other people what to care about. Go create your own thread about what you do care about and let other people discuss what they want. You want to disagree with someone's opinions, that's cool, but when you tell them not to promote their ideas you are in fact promoting your own ideas to them, which makes you a hypocrite.
Most leaners use this method to try to cover up posts they don't like. They continually click on threads like this one in their attempt to cover it up and it is maddening, isn't it? They have taken the teachings of Saul Alinsky to heart and try to do the things he told them to use. Ah yes, they want very much to denigrate anything that isn't leaner thought.
