what's the point of these fast food joints anyways?

they churn out junk food, exploit 3rd World farmers, pay terrible wages whilst robbing the taxpayer of money (for corporate welfare) and are just, all in all, a blot on the landscape.

and they promote the entitlement and subservience culture - not a good thing

so why not just get rid of these abomnible places of filth, and promote a more healthy sustainable alternative?

Because the only way to get rid of them is either through government which I don't support the government telling us what we can and can not eat or people simply stop eating there. Since my surgery in September I think fast food is revolting...all of it is just nasty...my taste buds are the same and I can't handle the crap they put out.

Ask the people who eat there.

What I'm saying is, it is not our place to get rid of these places. People eat there, and that's the answer to his question of why not.
