The wellness fair was run by the Westchester County Department of Health, which put its stamp of approval right on the back of those pamphlets, where it is clearly noted the material is intended for adults
The material is clearly NOT intended for kids and yet they find their way into the hands of little kids in a school no less. We are given the same excuse every time it happens "its a mistake". Sure it is.

And where is proof of this “clear intent”? Surely you who demands proof when people make absolute statements has some proof that there is a conspiracy.

Yes, let’s educate them with scientifically and medically accurate information AFTER they’ve engage in sexual activity. That’s the time to prepare them. Much like give them appropriate body armor AFTER they’ve already gone to war.

I think that is the goal being used towards children.

You base your conclusion on a conversation with a couple of strippers? Hmmm. Interesting focus group.

A “Wellness Fair” run by the County Health Department of Health as is stated in the article, or did you not read the article and couldn’t get past the headline and assumed the conspiracy?

I would rather have my children to "accidentally" be given a pamphlet on issues related to sexual education at school than become a victim of the senseless school violence already occuring on school campuses.

I'd rather my kids accidentally found a winning lottery ticket.

"The Little Black Book - Q***r in the 21st Century" was also distributed to children as a "mistake" in one of these "health fairs". Incident after incident of the same type of graphic adult sex pamphlets keeps getting "accidentally" handed out to children, all associated with school events.

Would you be so opposed if it only described heterosexual sex missionary style after marriage and it was "accidentally" distributed to kids?
Why are you so opposed to medically and scientifically accurate sex education? Do you not want children to be educated in these matters?

You are exactly right. I don't want some politicly correct idiot deciding whats right for my children. I will teach them when I think they are ready. I will teach them what I feel is right.
I don't want the gov teaching my kids moral values, what is sexually correct, or what is an acceptable religion.
I send my child to school to learn academics. Math, history, ENGLISH, and science.
What right does any school have to give out this kind of literature to young children? They should at the very least be required to obtain parental permission. All involved deserve to be terminated from their jobs. Mistake? Common when we are talking about our future we need to make sure we get it right the first time. Ah but then again look at our public education system and how it has fallen. Once a model now a joke.

It is clearly stated in the article that the information in these pamphlets were meant for ADULTS. Maybe you and those that think this is a great idea should go read the article again.
I am well aware that there are many in the schools that have decided that parents should have no say in their education and have no parental rights. What parents need to do is stand up against this assult on parental rights.

With serious cuts in local and state health departments' funding, the position(s) that were once funded are now vacant. Materials Review was one of the first positions to be vacated on the NYS level.
It is likely that no one was on board at the county level to review material, and the School Fair clearly didn't do an adequate check either. It is likely that the county is also without a review staff member and the school without a qualified staff person.
The continued decrease in funding will clearly have unintended and attendant consequences.
