It was a mistake. The lady said they regretted the mistake.
But whatever. We were talking about sex on the playground in second grade. These kids aren't as stupid as you think.

They ALWAYS say they regret the mistake and yet it happens again and again.
Does anyone think maybe kids would be better off not being exposed to all this adult sex acts before the age of reason and maturity or should we continue to let them sexualize the kids while they are young and dumb? Get em’ young, get em’ dumb.

I could be wrong, but it appears to be that media (television, radio, pop shows, magazines, etc) portray more sexual content than I am happy with--are folks displeased with that; do parents pay attention to all the sexual arousal that is put out there on a daily basis? Or are we only concerned when a school administrator/fair director makes a mistake?

Do you seriously believe that the thoughts or desires to have sex does not occur in children going through puberty and that if there was no sex ed there would be no problem?

I know of kids in junior high and elementary school who developed a serious emotional problem after finding a Jack Chick tract (Hell, Eternal Damnation, the Devil, demonic possession, the Tribulation, the Anti-Christ!) in a school locker. There's lots of kinds of emotionally disturbing information out there. Parents have to be parents, gosh darn it.

I agree that this was highly erroneous (and I agree that kids, especially girls, are sexualized way too early in our society), but what in the world are you talking about now? Dumb? It's not as though these people were trying to subvert the children into believing falsifications of known sexual facts. "Wait, kids! You're overtly naive at this stage in your life! So let me tell you about procreation! And if you believe it, one day, you might just have children!"

Maybe you should contact that school and get yourself a pamphlet.
