Wow..the US went on for 2 weeks with "it's the movie" while the rest of the world said "terrorist attack".
And you're defending them saying "Well they retracted it" ?

sense when does the reason for what someone did matter to the action itself. If you kill someone and it isnt in self defense then it doesnt matter if you did it because of a religious reason or if they gave you a fake smile.

Rice was a puppet put in front of the press that Sunday across various channels saying that.
Meanwhile Libya said the Friday before that it was a terrorist attack as did Al Jazeera.
And you have no problem being misled for 2 weeks until they "retracted" it ?

I won't change the subject. When you're given funding, you prioritize where it's going to be spent. Why not pull some security from another place that's safer when this place was clearly not? If funding was really the issue, why would they have told the military in the area not to intervene? They were available and would not come out of the budget of the State Department. Finally, the reson they gave for not fulfilling the request was that they wanted to give a different image. The funding point was a CYA effort as a retrofit.
The most heated exchange of the day was Clinton's reply to Senator Johnson.
