CNN Poll 88% say Rep. Pete Stark should not apologize

The Raw Story | CNN Poll: 88% say Rep. Stark should not apologize

Interesting that Pete Stark is not yet apologized for his comments. Why should he? If you tell the truth ~ there’s nothing to apologize for.

The Commander-in-Chief might feel dishonored but he should look more towards himself and his actions for being dishonored then to listen to Pete Stark. If you’re a failure and continue to do the same thing and it’s costing the lives of our servicemen I guess Pete Stark’s comments hit home with accuracy.

I looked at the poll and it’s moved up to 89% now. Seems like more people understand the truth and approve of it.

Sometimes it hurts to tell the truth and the truth-teller gets penalized. Clearly the news media are making a big fuss about this, but if we didn't have all this media madness and the frenzy to stay on line 24/7, we probably wouldn't even know that this Congressman said anything.

Every little word is under a microscope.

But, I am probably among the growing number who approve of Stark's opinion (can't say I heard his words).

saying this is done for Bush's amusement just shows his buttons are being pushed by the deranged crowd.

No, he shouldn't apologize though. We're all grown ups, everyone has heard temper tantrums before, its nothing but a bunch of noise.

Makes you wonder who is deranged though, does it not? The 89% who feel he was on target or the 11% who are still following our deranged "leader' down the path of ruin.

Correction, it just seems like more anti-American, anti-military leftists watch CNN than any other news program. That is all your phony statistic proves.

Why can't a poll be challenged without referencing it as a propaganda network. CNN is no more anti-American, anti-military or leftist than any other network except for Fox which evidently is more openly conservative.

This poll is neither phony or real; the numbers represent a particular poll conducted by this network: CNN.

Isn't it sad how far the media and leftist groups have driven some people in this country (I guess 89% of the people that watch CNN have been driven to this point). To honestly believe that someone sends people to war for their amusement is beyond my range of comprehension.

To ontheroad, do you believe that if you went down the street, told them this comment and asked what they thought, 9 out of 10 people will say right on?

As for your question about a poll, if you went to moveon.org and set up a poll, don't you think you might get different responses than if you went to some conservative site and did the same thing?

If you turned the dial from Fox for just a moment you would find out - most Americans oppose the Iraq invasion and want to get out. Give it a shot, don't be scared...expand your mind.

Of course we'd get a different result depending on our audience.

What I object to is this name calling. It gets us nowhere. We are not moving forward, and we are certainly not moving....on.

And if I polled here, I'm sure it would be more conservative on same days and more liberal on others.

But the question is: What is the true battle? Is it CNN? Is it Fox?

Is it each other?
