In other words, people are not class conscious in this country. So many erroneously believe that, you too can be a millionaire. No, sorry, that's not the case. This kind of thinking really permeates white collar jobs and the petty bourgeois class. The stockbroker, lawyer, doctor, small business owner, etc., that believe they are part of the rich class and their mission is to destory those unruly unions and bluecollar workers that stand in their way, when in reality they have more in common with them than Wall St. bankers and such. Sorry, you are not part of the elite, you likely never will be, so stop trying to pretend that you're with the "in" crowd. They hate you, think you're scum, you're just a useless eater to them. No. you just can't get past party loyalty. I believe the GOP is 99% rotten and the Dems are about 70% rotten. Regardless of who is in power they are going to protect elites. Then you come on this thread and start attacking the messenger when the fact of the matter is Obama has seriously harmed the left's ability to argue their case by trampling on civil liberties, surrounding himself with corporate lobbyists, and expanding military use of force to seven Muslim countries, hugely increasing government secrecy, and flat out breaking laws.

It was quite clear that Lanny was lying to protect the Big and Powerful Banksters on Wall Street.
The fact that a private investigator could find plenty of low level people that admitted the banks were committing fraud, and that the DOJ could find nothing was very telling.
