I don't see a blatantly racist conspiracy either, but it is hard to fathom how no black coach could break the pattern of same old white retreads.
"I'm not saying no children were massacred in the sandy hook shooting, but I want to know why we haven't heard anything about the suspect chased down in the woods, or the pre-shooting dated Facebook pages, the initial reports that the AR15 was found inside the car - not used in the shooting, the odd press conferences and photo shops"
Bla bla bla. Sound familiar? Because I think it does.
Being qualified for a job is no longer necessary. Diversity is needed to fill a quota for political correctness and have affirmative action with multi cultural, gender equal social justice.
Well, at least one of your diversity entries hasn't been dealt with in a PC manner. That would be gender equal since very few women have ever played football in the NFL.
I know of an example of gender equal that has worked out very well for all the good old white boys at the team level. Kansas U hired a female to be their basketball team's weight coach and have become steadily better since that time. The head coach was against it but now loves the woman more than any male strength coach he could have had. She has been involved with outstanding BB teams first at UCONN and the past 8 years at KU. The players love her and her personal programs for all of them. Maybe some of the professional football teams should consider her services.

Not "bullsh*t" ....that's absolutely true. Every word of it.
You're white...you can afford to be cavalier, but the Rooney Rule exists for a reason.
DD... I may be white, but so what? When I say I don't discriminate, quite simply I don't. I don't have an agenda, nor an axe to grind. Maybe it's because I was born in a different time, and have always judged an individual on their character and how they treat me. I'm quite sure if you and I met on the street and had a beer together, we'd get along just fine.
Do you have any real reason to believe this? This past hiring season (January) tells me that you are very much wrong.
You don't have to live here.
Pointing out the truth is "race baiting?" You can't tell me that there were not many coaches, i.e. Lovie Smith, who weren't qualified to get hired? Smit went 10-6 and was fired, and didn't get a job, while Andy Reid went 4-12 and was scooped up immediately. Nothing more than the old boy network.
Maybe you should consider who Reid is following. I was sure that that old defensive lineman would do an outstading job, even with the Chiefs. Well he had a good defense, some days, and some outstanding backs who just couldn't get it done. Sure DD is right about time and place.
This affirmative action BS has cost our society more than it has helped. You have Billionaires that are trying to win, I think they are going to pick who they think is the best candidate.....I dont know about you, but the last think I want to do is sit in an interview room knowing that I am only there because of my skin color......That crap is degrading......
