This will be interesting women believe they are as capable as men when they weigh in at 120 lb and the blokes in the front row of rugby are at least 240 lb.
A female getting tackled by a couple of male props would know all about it.
So ladies who believe if the army is to be gender free so should all sports in it ?

Is sport an integral part of the military?
Are not some guys 120 lbs?
Are all guys 240 lbs?

If a woman is good enough to play in the top level of a men's sports league, she absolutely should be allowed.

But let's be honest, this entire thread was started so you could post that rugby video... as if there are more than 5 people on this board who care about rugby.

As one who has never seen rugby played I must say that women playing the game would have very little chance against men. How about basketball with 5'6 women playing against 6'6 men? How about your 120 pound woman boxing with a 180 pound man? NO, gender has to be concerned in sports played in the military just as it is now.

Spudd Webb was 5'6". Should he have been banned from the NBA?

Spud Webb could dunk a basket ball and run rings around all the other players. If a woman NBA player can do that then let her try out.

Exactly. As long as it based on talent who cares about gender.

Yet women believe they can go bayonet to bayonet against a male who outweighs them by eighty pounds.
Does not make much sense does it ?

There is nothing barring women from playing professional sports now. They just aren't good enough. Reality comes into play at some point. My daughter played football until the 6th grade when the boys just got too big. She had fun doing it while she could though.

Then what is the minimum size for a male in the military? Guess what. There area lot of men that are 120lbs or less. Guess we should start treating military enlistment like playing o-line for the the Cornhuskers.
