Although you incorrectly attempt to frame this in a manner that insinuates violence and ties to racism the process is already in motion.

It is not a WAR, it is a Revolution (as in rEVOLution) which has nothing to do with violence or racism.

It is more a moral and intellectual reawakening to re-claim our legacy and return to a rule of law under the Constitutionally Based Democratic Republic which has allowed past generations to live in prosperity and made this Great Nation the 1st modern Superpower.

We are done with wars and it's consequences.
We need to stop using war as a metaphor

The War for Oil
The War on Drugs
The War on Crime
The War on Kids
The War on poverty
The War on Men
The War on Women
The War on Christmas
The War on Objectivity
The War on War (gotta love that one)

It also trivializes what War is when it is actually necessary.

I think this last election was our second civil war and state's rights lost again. This time we lost to communism. It is just a matter of time until we have a dictator if we don't already.

I have several books on McVeigh. Fascinating character....man stood by his beliefs and principles...I was young when he struck a blow against the government but I followed him when he was in prison and when they murdered him.

Wasn't 9/11 an act of terrorism and war?? It can be both you know.

McVeigh's reasons don't make it any less of a terrorist attack or act of war.

Civil war implies two (or more) fairly equally balanced factions and sustained military conflict.

That scenario is not likely: the security surveillance apparatus of any modern state, and most especially the United States, is sufficiently overwhelming that any attempt at organizing military force would end in arrests and indictments before it even began.

But there can be political violence short of outright civil war. In this country, the 1960s was notable for its political violence in the form of riots, assassinations and more-or-less violent protest demonstrations. There's no particular reason why that is now permanently behind us.

But if the question being asked here between the lines is whether the anonymous extremist blowhards who frequent this forum represent a real force capable of resorting to political violence, then my answer is a confident negative. They are naughty children making rude faces, nothing more.

Timothy McVeigh was a traitor, and he fully deserved to be executed for his heinous crime.

Indeed it was a tragedy.

Your poll is skewed just a tad left don't you think?

Where is the "none of the above" option which is what
will really happen. The fed knows its an un-winnable situation
and will be backing away as gracefully as possible.
