All the hoopla about certain people not being emotionally and/or mentally stable enough to own a gun. Her husband says she still own guns. On Chris Wallace's Sunday show, he says it loudly, clearly, and with a certain defensiveness and anger.
Clearly, she's not capable of shooting straight.
Since so many lefties think they know who's stable and who isn't, and seem to think gun ownership should be based on rigorous tests, shouldn't she lose her right to gun ownership?
I wouldn't want to be in the room with her if she was armed with her finger on the trigger.

What say you?
Is she doing anything illegal?
Could she still go to a gun show and legally buy a gun?
If so, what does that tell you when you state "wouldn't want to be in the room with her if she was armed with her finger on the trigger"
I am no physician. I do not know much about her mental state except for what I have heard and seen on T.V. I do know that she can hardly put together a sentence, her physical dexterity is very poor, and that her mental comprehension has been affected because of her the terrible accident she went through. She should not have a handgun permit based on our current laws.

Your ridiculous attempt at deflection aside, could she pass a background test? Could she even fill out the paperwork? No? Then yes, she's illegal. You're the ones screeching for more tests. But you can't stand behind your screeching.
No surprise, there.

What is it about HER HUSBAND SAYS SHE STILL OWNS GUNS that's so difficult to understand? Maybe he's the impaired one.

I agree with you.
Every gun owner should have to pass a shooting test in order to posses and own a firearm. I would use the Marine Corp standars [BCRM-MQ] for rifle and the Army's for pistol; with recertification[at the owners expense..no tax dollars allowed to be used] every three years.

What I've read is that her cognitive skills (meaning her intellect) HAVE NOT been impaired. She's dealing with partial paralysis and real difficulty speaking, so it's incredibly difficult for her to communicate, but that's it. How sick is it to assume that every person with a physical disability is stupid too?
That same FBI background check you have to go through if you buy one from a store or other gun dealer. The only way to get around a background check buying a gun from a gun show vendor is to have already cleared the background check system with a CCW permit.
People who don't own guns are under the impression there is no checking going on when buying a gun.
This is what the press and Dems are telling everyone.
People are being led to think that only stores do checks and there's a big free for all going on in the US outside of gun stores.
They think outside of a gun shop everthing is treated like private sellers.
