Bloomberg Refused Second Slice of Pizza at Local Restaurant - The Daily Currant

I side with Bloomberg on most issues, but detest that government could dictate to a person what he/she can or should consume. The pizza guy was really funny!

Mayor Bloomberg, not accustomed to being challenged, assumed that the owner was joking.
"OK, that's funny," he remarked, "because of the soda thing ... No come on. I'm not kidding. I haven't eaten all morning, just send over another pepperoni."
"I'm sorry sir. We're serious," Benito insisted. "We've decided that eating more than one piece isn't healthy for you, and so we're forbidding you from doing it."
"Look jackass," Bloomberg retorted, his anger boiling, "I ****ing skipped breakfast this morning just so I could eat four slices of your pizza. Don't be a *******, just get back to the kitchen and bring out some ****ing pizza, okay."
"I'm sorry sir, there's nothing I can do," the owner repeated. "Maybe you could go to several restaurants and get one slice at each. At least that way you're walking. You know, burning calories."
Witnesses say a fuming Bloomberg and a bemused Liu did indeed walk down the street to a rival pizzeria , ordered another slice and finished their meeting.
That's just hilarious. It's amazing what a pompous jackass the people of NYC have for a mayor. Glad to see the full report.

This story has got to be a joke. It has "Onion" all over it.

If it isn't, good for the restaurant. It's about time someone in NYC showed some common sense.

Bummer, I actually thought for a minute there that there was someone in NYC that would stand up to that jackass. Should have known better.

Don't feel bad I fell for a story from the same site on a speech by Newt, it was just so Newt it had to be true. This story is good just maybe a restaurant will really refuse to give that petty tyrant seconds.

Never forget that Sir Bloomberg is THE PRINCE OF THE CITY and must never be challanged by anyone. Even a pizza baker let alone the city council.

The story captures the attitude. Thanks.
