That's impossible. How can you bring guns from Virgina to a gun controlled DC???
We have plenty of history of banning things and how well that has worked. I do not believe anyone thinks that banning guns will do a thing. We have banned drugs. Drugs are available on nearly every street corner.
We banned alcohol. Alcohol was not hard to get. We now have the technology for someone to make a 20 round clip on a 3-D printer in their bedroom.
One day, maybe people will want to address the actual problems but I doubt it. They will always look to scapegoats.

After enough deaths, the fact that the 2nd Amendment is just words... old words... it will sink in that they aren't relevant to 20?? and there will be hell to pay. Count on it. If America survives into the far future it will NOT be as some kind of Mad Max-Road Warrior post apocalypse where anarchy reigns. If America survives it will be because we got rid of the guns. AND tapped the rich people.
That's why we need national gun control laws..When criminals can go to places like Texas and buy guns freely and bring them to cities like DC there's a problem..Straw buyers are problems. Comprehensive gun control is the way to go...Thanks for pointing this out!!
You must be referring to Holder sanctioned gun sale to Mexicans per Fast and Furious then seized and distributed around the U.S. Law abiding citizens just being the middle men generating the cash.

Considering banning guns has never worked I don't think there is any real risk of that occuring. However, should guns become illegal, they will be easier to access than drugs. As it stands today, you can print 30 round magazines and receivers to build guns from. It isn't possible to put the genie back into the bottle.
