Legal aliens or ILLEGAL aliens? We DON'T need many more people moving here unless the're smart, have morals and obey OUR rules.
In reading that link I think I saw mostly illegal immigrants mentioned since I am sure that most of the Hispanic countries of the Western Hemisphere come from countries who have already used their year's quota. You did read that thing, didn't you?
The country is already overpopulated, and an idea as stupid as opening up the borders to let everyone in would only accelerate the death of the United States.
Only a truly stupid individual could ever support such an idea.
Well, there is a chance that the Dream EO could provide a lot of voters for Democrats next time around unless, somehow, we determine that the EO issuer isn't legal also and rip away all his orders.
Immigration is good for countries. If we didn't have legal and illegal immigration our population would be declining. Immigrants come to the country to work and start businesses.
I'm really going to look forward to the know-nothing wing of the GOP to start foaming at the mouth once the immigration reform bill or bills start getting closer to being passed and signed by Obama. I will be making popcorn and enjoying the gnashing of teeth and impotent rage.

So you really believe that the millions of Hispanics who have come here in the last 20 or so years came legally. I think it may be you that has the problem since our immigration numbers for legals have become much smaller than at one time.
The USA was created and founded as beacon for anyone around the world who wanted to brave the elements to get here and live free and pursue happiness. That hasn't changed and shouldn't change. The USA will only be the USA unless we preserve it as a land for people who want to be free.

And then watch to see the numbers of people who come in legally around the Statue of Liberty and those who just walk across the border.
We apparently are soon to find out -- but it's all about the unlimited cheap labor and Obama intends to reward anyone and everyone who will come here illegally.
It would only be right to reimburse the legal immigrants for all their costs of abiding by the laws because the really big rewards and easy citizenship are for those who have zero respect for our country and it's laws.
You most definitely are against the working poor and the unemployed who truly want jobs. You want them to have to compete with absolutely anyone in the world --- all they have to do is sneak across the border and be willing to work for a short time, any low wage at all.
Cesar Chavez was definitely not for unlimited illegal immigration. He was for better working conditions and wages for the workers at the lowest spot of the totem pole.
And so much for you liberals caring about the environment, just let in hundreds of millions of cheap labor immigrants and we can plow under all the state parks and wilderness regions to build them cheap housing. Just fill this country up with indigents of all nations. That's the plan.
