Same can be said for Europeans...they hate it but their govts betrayed them, and when they speak up they're branded NAzis, islamophobes etc. And I won't be so sure about the Libs in America...some of them are crazy stupid. A few American women I know have gone to great lengths, even branding me a bigot, to convince me that ordinary American guys are such oppressors of American women, so dangerous to their rights and safety, yet stubbornly defend muslim men, extol their great virtues, hidden talents and crow about how they're "misunderstood" and being oppressed. No wonde muslims are optimistic about the rise of Islam in nonmuslim nations.
Wrong. Nothing the "tabloids" wrote was lies, just little reported FACTS the MSM was not willing to touch. BTW, the Daily Mail is one of the few that had the guts to report on the Muslim grooming scandals plus the recent sharia gangs. And both Muslims AND Jews were kicked out of Europe for good reasons. You would not have the life you have today if not for that decision, so be grateful.

You might be able to convince others with your semantics, but there's no way I and many others will believe stop associating honour killings with islam and muslims. The dark ages have come and gone leaving behind muslims who practise this and somehow, it's getting worse, not better.
Like I keep saying and you keep ignoring, pagans and Christians (and I believe Hindus) in the region also do Honor killings. There are no provisions in Islam for Honor killings as there are no provisions in Christianity for Honor killings. The entire concept of individual or familial honor is actually a very secular concept. There should be only honor to God.

It's similar to how Christianity incorporated a lot of the cultures of the people that practice them. Mexicans still perform many pagan traditions (like day of the dead) wrapped in Christianity. Christmas itself has many pagan carry overs like the tree, ornaments, etc Muslim children born to Muslim parents off Muslim soil are still raised by their parents who imprint their values. But Honor killings is not a Muslim thing, it's a tribal rite, it just so happens that most groups of people who live by tribal ethic happen to be Muslim now. But there are some tribes who don't, some tribes who are pagan or Christian in the region and they do honor killing the same. When Islam came in the region, it mandated certain things like trials for the women and witnesses but in rural areas these are ignored. If a man feels shamed by his wife, he will kill her without a trial which is a grave sin in Islam.

Muslims are a warrior people because they have to be. Their lands are under constant invasion, war, and threat. In my homeland, Chechnya, over 1/5 of us died in just 2 years in the 90s, then another 1/5 of us died in the first years of the new millennium.
And Saudi Arabia is far from the worst of the lot. Honor killings are illegal there. But they're legal in many areas including Palestinian territories, Afghanistan (or was) and in my region Chechnya. In these societies the code of honor is very strong and violating it for both men and women is a death sentence. Men here still get in legal sanctioned feuds over slights like name calling, women are kidnapped, and women are killed by their husbands and expected to serve their husbands to the letter. I know for a fact none of these laws existed before the wars for independence in Chechnya but the wars caused the people to live a more primitive life in the mountains and away from the cities. This caused a resurfacing of buried traditions that are necessary for the survival of a tribe under siege but not necessary in modern life.
It won't happen here because I'm pretty sure whether you are liberal or conservative/R or D we won't put up with it.

At one point i would have shot at muslims, pulling off sharia, but for me it would be very interesting to see the left suffer under that type of law. The left welcomed them and their laws after all.

It's people like you, who have changed my mind to take the Muslim side.... I don't plan to change my religion, but to just help them fight their cause in the USA.
Now that you bring it up......the OWS was known for many rapes happening, even dads leaving babies alone in tents and with strangers. Taking blankets and food from the shelters and not allowing the homeless to have any food when it was being prepared.
