A staffer at left-wing Media Matters for America committed numerous felonies in the District of Columbia and around the country by carrying a firearm to defend the organization’s founder, David Brock, The Daily Caller has learned.
According to a knowledgeable source, multiple firearms used to protect the Media Matters founder were purchased with Brock’s blessing — and apparently with the group’s money.
According to an internal email exchange obtained by TheDC, the gun was purchased with cash in Maryland, likely to diminish the chances such a purchase would appear on the tax-exempt group’s books.
So mentally ill David Brock wants to enforce gun control on us, while he breaks current gun laws. Considering his history with mental illness, the one we should worry about having access to a gun is him.

Lots of irony (hypocrisy?) on many levels. They bought a Glock w/ cash in Maryland, using MM money, and later a shotgun. Exactly the kind of thing that Mayor Bloomberg has inveighed over, but then Bloomberg has armed bodyguards so he is probably sympathetic to fellow lib David Brock.
What's to comment on? Media Matters appears to have purchased a handgun and a shotgun for protection, and later turned the handgun into the police for disposal. None of the proposals coming out of the Whitehouse and supported widely on the left bans either of the weapons in question, or prevents people from owning weapons for personal protection. Media Matters certainly hasn't called for their ban.
