Not true. Nerologists deal with medical neurological conditions, not psychiatric issues. While neurologists will use SOME of the same medicines that psychiatrists use, their practices are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT.
While I am not a psychiatrist, their speciality is based on sound principles of science and randomized, blinded, prospective studies, like very other specialty in medicine. To call an entire field "quakery" is fallacious and ignorant.
What is quackery? Accupuncture, Chiropractic for non musculoskeletal problems, "cupping", and many "herbal" medicines (which are just weak, poorly regulated pharmaceuticals).
All the Scientologists I ever heard of of knew and I knew some were scary people like Tom Cruise. I know if you get IN and want out, you just come up missing.
