Well, an increasing number of citizens are becoming liberal-minded that they see Obama as God.

City-Data's GOP posters have successfully lost a (former) reliable GOP voter.

Congrats?
I am an independent who was on the fence forever this past election. I live in one of the bluest of blue states so it did not matter. I have to say that some of the posts on CD put me over the edge and I voted Obama. I am not in the 47% and do not expect or get free stuff.

Me I have NO idea....we are about to go into a double dip recession and it seems the blame is still at the GOP....when does Obama take responsibility? Simply amazing.
Naw...the economy is all Bush's fault and the evil GOP even though the GOP only has the house and not the senate and White House. Seems the libs and the American people forgot that we have three different branches here and the GOP only controls one. The Dems control two. The last time I checked, two is bigger than one, so who should we be blaming here?

IT'S BUSH'S FAULT. BUSH'S FAULT!!!!! Naw...it just takes a long time to improve an economy.:r olleyes: Like 5 years or so.:rolley es:

Who cares?

These are the same people that read "news" like NPR, AP and Yahoo News who wrote "more important" stories about Obama's coolness with his Miami NBA team hosting than they did about the not-so-important declining GDP.

I truly wish I was in the class of the elites and the international banking houses. Their job is just way, way, way, way, way too easy.

Joseph Goebbels would be proud of our main stream media. Therein lies the answer to the OPs question.

Oh please, no. Never use city-data forums to influence your political opinions.

That would be like taking fitness advice from Rosie O'Donnel.

Obama won. So yes, we're now in negative economic growth and unemployment is once again rising, but so what? "Obama cares about me and my problems"
Thankfully a majority of people don't think the way you do.

Regarding the thread topic, I won't get into the specifics about Obama's perforance on the economy, because that is very hard to gauge.

But what I don't understand is why the media seems to be doing everything in its power to convince us that we are experiencing a recovery, when we all know we are burying more and more **** in the litter box and, eventually, it will need scooped clean?
