Where does it say anywhere in the actual article that there was no tip left? There was a generous tip left. 18% plus cash.
You know, you still haven't explained why, if the pastor said on the receipt that the server didn't deserve 18% that she would then leave $6+ on the table. And she obviously thought that crossing the gratuity off the credit card receipt would take it off her bill. 18% of the bill was $6.29, remember?
In simpler terms, why would she give the server 36% if she thought 18% was too much?

You are just looking for something to mad about because this person is religious. The 18% is automatic. They all left cash also according to the pastor herself. She only wrote her opinion on the receipt which we are all entitled to.
Gawker and Reddit are atheistic blogs?? The pastor scratched out the tip from the receipt. She is a cheap skate.
It was supposedly posted to an atheist blog where it was picked up from there. Just because you scratch out the 18% on the receipt doesn't mean that you aren't still paying it when it comes out AUTOMATICALLY!

“What they didn’t show is the money that I left and that we all left on the table,” said Pastor Bell. She says she left $6.29 on the table and her credit card was also charged the tip amount. Everyone else at the table also left tips in cash.
If the tip wasn't removed and the pastor left a tip and everyone else left a tip like the article said the waitress should be fired for doing what she did, if it hasnt been done already.

the waitress did nothing, it was her friend who posted the receipt...plus
not everyone wants what the pastor wrote on the recipt, shoved down their throats either....
we all have rights....like I said before, that righteous paster ought to be giving God 18%

It's the pastor's word against the waitress's word. If you read the actual postings from the waitresses (the one actually serving and another who also commented) you'll see that they claim that no tip was left by the pastor in either cash form or automatic form.
In this case, the waitresses appear more credible
