Look at the regulations we have on vehicles. You need a license to operate one. You need to demonstrate the ability drive before being given a license. Your license can be suspended or revoked if you can't obey traffic laws or are no longer capable of driving. .
And if you are a criminal you don't care....hell, just look at all the people who were jailed last night:
To operate a car, it must be registered, insured, and in many states pass an inspection. Selling vehicles is highly regulated, even between individuals. .
Wrong, I can buy a car, never register it and never drive it. How is selling a vechile highly regulated?

I'm reminded of a couple of years ago when another doomsday prepper went nuts in the Pacific Northwest (I think it was Washington state), killed his family, ran away to his "bug out location" which was an underground bunker built into a hillside, and then eventually killed himself in his doom bunker when the police were closing in on him. As I recall the guy was also a neo-Nazi.
so why is he characterized as an "anti-government guy" and not a Vietnam vet, when the article never referred to him as being "anti-government?" Oh wait, your trying to turn this into a political statement to trash republicans and Tea party types, okay, i get it now.

Yep, that link has pictures of the Washington prepper/survivalist who built his doom bunker, killed his family (his wife was leaving him because he was a mentally unstable nutjob), and then tried to make a last stand before he decided to kill himself.
